Frequently asked questions
Is the CV review really free?
Yes, completely free. There's no payment, no card details required, and no obligation to buy anything afterwards. We offer a limited number of free recruiter-led diagnoses each week so we can spend proper time on each one. It's how we show the quality of our work before anyone considers a paid rebuild.
How long does the free CV review take?
Most free CV diagnoses are returned within 24 hours of upload. Because they're reviewed by a recruiter rather than an automated tool, capacity is capped each week. You'll see an estimated delivery time on screen the moment you submit, and the report is emailed straight to your inbox.
Who reviews my CV?
Your CV is reviewed by Scott Burns and Carly Burns, the recruitment directors who run Glo Career Services. Both have decades of frontline recruitment experience across the UK and Gulf, so the feedback is based on what hiring teams and ATS systems actually filter for, not generic templates or AI-only scoring.
Will you try to sell me something after the review?
No hard sell. The free review is genuinely free and useful on its own. It tells you what's blocking interviews and what to fix. If you decide you'd like us to rebuild the CV for you, our Career Accelerator package is £80 one-time. If you don't, that's completely fine.
What format should I upload my CV in?
Upload as a Word document (.doc or .docx) or PDF. Word is preferred because it lets us run a deeper structural and ATS check, but PDF works perfectly well. Avoid sending screenshots or image-based CVs. They can't be parsed properly and the review will be less accurate.
